Squadron Challenge
Does you squadron issue a challenge at the end of each meeting? And if they do, do they give a prize for the ones who answer the question? Also, what kind of prizes do you give if you give one? My squadron issues 2 challenges each week and the cadet who tallies up the most points at the end of a certain time, gets a prize like a squadron mug. |
Re: Squadron Challenge
I found that cadets really like challenge coins i.e. Civil Air Patrol ones, or customized squadron ocins.

This is a good idea. Can you be more specific as to how your squadron does this?

Re: Squadron Challenge
Well, I am one of the higher ranking cadets at my squadron, and we get to gove 2 challenges a week. The Cadet Commander gives a challenge, and then someone else gives one, usually me. An example challenge might be like this: Cadets, this week your challenge from me is to find out some information about Billy Mitchell. I want you to find out what he did to get court martialed, what date he was court martialed on, what rank he was before he got demoted, and what he was demoted to along with the date he was demoted on. Then, the next week, the cadets who do the assignment get 5 points and the cadet who gets the most information, gets 7 points. Set a date to tally up points(like a couple of months), then two or three cadets who have the most points get a prize, which we do a squadron mug. |
