Keeping CAP Connection a Friendly Place
So, I'm on line surfing CAP related forums and what should I find. A few places where questions get more ridicule and answers to their questions and issues. There also exists dogpiling and ganing up against certain people by certain people. Who, also, could forget the ever presense of trolls, those that logon only to cause trouble and discontent.
This forum, as of the posting of this, is a pristine environment somewhat free from all that. However, the time may arrive where that is not so.
May I suggest the following:
1) Don't post to be "theatrical" or "dramtic" posts. One-upsmanship, while making a person feel good...creates poor feelings with others.
2) If you have a disagreement, please take it to the Person Message (PM) and solve it in private.
3) Don't insult people, we are here about issues, to debate and discuss, not to insult eachother.
4) Leave the gossip at home, it is against the Core Values anyway
5) Don't feed the trolls. Report them, the Moderators and Adminsitrators will address them and then make them "go away."
Let's discuss this a bit.

Re: Keeping CAP Connection a Friendly Place
Disagreements do need to be discussed publicly some of the time. One of the major reason for having a forum is for the debate factor. These disagreements are fine as long as they are kept civil (in a debate fashion). If they start heating up and getting out of hand, it's time for the moderators to step in and for the PM funtion to get some use.
