Does anyone's squadron on this forum do rifle training to get the Rifle medal? It kinda looks like the Marine Corp rifle badge.

At encampment they will, there from the NRA, you should shoot at encampment to see which one you get.

Not yet, I won't go to encampment until Dec. I know our wing (Texas) alows you to shoot for them. I shoot for the 4-H team though.

If you spend enough time looking around the NRA web site, I believe they have shoots they host where you can get them, not CAP related.

The answer is YES. If you go to Encampment and prove yourself, you are can wear the medal. I where it with my Blues. There are several, depending on how good you shoot.

Anybody know if seniors can shoot? Sounds like fun! I shot expert in the USAF, M-16 & .38 revolver.
