Non-Commissioned Officer Academy
I went to the fall 2007 Texas wing NCOA. It was a great learning experience. It is a great oppertunity to learn new drills and ceremonies, better your customs and courtesies, and gain valuable leadership skills. I suggest, to anyone who has it avalible in their wing, the NCOA or similar program.
Re: Non-Commissioned Officer Academy
Sounds cool. So who were your instructors this year?
I had C/Maj Wright and C/Lt Col Yalcin during my NCOA one year ago. I think C/Maj Wright was the overall CTEP Commander this year, correct?

Correct, he was. There was also C/Maj. Joshua Vaughan, C/Maj. Cassie Stephens, and C/Maj. Gus Rojas.
Re: Non-Commissioned Officer Academy
Stephens is AWESOME! So is Vaughn. Sounds like you had a great set if instructors this fall!

Re: Non-Commissioned Officer Academy
We did have good instructors. This is Maj. Stephens last year at CTEP.
Re: Non-Commissioned Officer Academy
NCOA was fun back in 2006 fall. But we had this annoying kid from Sheldon in our barracks, kept us up all night messing around
SNCOA is also a great program. You get to be evaluated on a much more individual basis cause there's less people. That can be good, but not always
EDIT: hope SNCOA's not OT... technically it is a non-commissioned officer academy
